There is a breadth of organizations within South King County that are providing essential services for the diverse population across the region, each with their own niche, relationships and connections to the community. 

Many of the issues these organizations address are interconnected, but we have organized them here based on their largest priorities.

    A coalition of more than 70 arts and heritage organizations throughout South King County to offer a resource for learning about cultural events, exhibits, classes, volunteer opportunities, auditions/artist calls, and other aspects of the cultural life of our local communities.

  • Institute for Community Leadership

    Assisting individuals, schools, and organizations envision a more just nation and world, and developing and sustaining the strength, discipline, leadership, relationships and organizational integrity to bring that vision into reality.

  • Na’ah Illahee Fund

    Supporting and promote the leadership of Indigenous women in the ongoing regeneration of Indigenous communities in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

  • Refugee Women’s Alliance

    Advocating for social justice, public policy changes, and equal access to services while respecting cultural values and the right to self-determination.

  • South King County Native Coalition

    Started in May 2015, the SKCNC is a coalition of Native community organizations/agencies and individuals.

    Promoting community empowerment, leadership development, self-reliance and health promotion for the greater refugee/immigrant community in the State of Washington.

    The only Latinx food bank in the country, building community leadership and power for migrant justice through legal advocacy and education.

  • Babies of Homelessness

    Serving all children experiencing homelessness—regardless of who they are, where they live, or socioeconomic class—having their immediate needs met.
